Wellington Cosmetic Clinic’s Ultra V Air Shine treatment smooths, restores, enhances and revitalises dry, dull skin affected by fine lines and wrinkles. Age, stress, hormonal imbalance (post-birth, menopause) as well as sun, tobacco and an unhealthy lifestyle are all factors involved in skin ageing. With time, lines develop, complexion turns dull, the skin texture becomes uneven and wrinkles appear. All these changes create dark areas on the face and the skin gradually loses its glow and becomes dry, thin and fragile. Loss of hyaluronic acid and excessive oxidative stress are the main reasons of skin ageing. Hyaluronic acid is an essential skin component, it acts like a sponge that retains water and keeps skin moisturised, plumped and healthy. As far as oxidative stress is concerned, the balance between antioxidants and oxidants can be disturbed by many external factors. Created in Switzerland by Teoxane Laboratories, the Ultra V Air Shine gun delivers Hyaluronic Acid with Teosyal Redensity 1 into the skin. The Ultra V Air Shine gun allows Wellington Cosmetic Clinics’ Registered Nurses and Qualified Practioners to place the solution beneath the skin using a multi-needle system that ensures precise depth and accurate dosing, every time.

About the product

Teosyal Redensity 1 is a new and unique product to the Dermal Filler market. Redensity 1 is a Hyaluronic Acid known as a Beauty Booster that not only hydrates the skin but repairs existing damage. Redensity 1 is a unique patented formula comprised of known effective natural components called the Dermo-Restructing Complex which contains amino acids, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Teosyal Redensity 1 contains Lidocaine to help reduce patients discomfort during treatment.

How it works

Beauty Booster treatments have a plumping effect on your skin, improving its elasticity, texture and hydration. The device works by applying inbuilt suction to the skin prior to every injection. This decreases the sensation and vascularity in the area, it then uses an automatic injector to place the Teosyal Redensity 1 into the dermis so that Hyaluronic Acid and the Dermo-Restructuring Complex are spread evenly into the skin.

Each session takes 1 hour (including 30mins numbing cream time) and three sessions, one month apart, are required initially, followed by a maintenance session recommended two to three times a year to maintain the effects of the treatment.

How soon will I see results?

You’ll see results immediately after your first session. Your skin will be less creased, better hydrated and more supple. Your skin should continue to improve with time following your treatment programme.

It’s great for boosting elasticity to the face, lower eyelid, neck, hands, décolletage to name a few.

Is there downtime?

You may return to your normal activities straight after the Ultra V Air Shine treatment. However, it is common to have a small amount of bruising, swelling and redness in the treatment area, which will usually settle after four days.
