Robert brings over 40 years’ experience in Dental and Oral Surgery, Orthodontics and, for the last 12 years, International experience in the field of Aesthetic Medicine.
“I graduated from Guy’s Hospital Dental School, London in 1976 and worked for 8 years in the Hospital and National Health Services in London, Kent and Wales, including the establishment of several successful private Practices.
I studied general practitioner Orthodontics during this period before spending several years in the United States running an airline company and attending many courses and seminars in Oral Surgery.
In 1994, I undertook a partnership, and eventual succession, in a large multi discipline Practice in Germany, where my role was, primarily, in the field of Maxillo-Facial and Oral Surgery, Orthodontics and Cosmetic Dentistry.
I spent the period 2000-2005, working in Southern Africa, in the Oral Surgery department of a hospital as well as part- time in a private Dental Practice.
I am an accredited provider of INVISALIGN orthodontic treatments.
During the last 20 years, I have undertaken advanced training in the use of Botulinum Toxin ( Botox, Dysport and Xeomin) and Dermal Fillers, not only for their therapeutic (medicinal) uses, but also for appearance medicine.
I am accredited by TC Aesthetic Academy in Harley Street, London and also by the Australasian Academy of Dento Facial Aesthetics (AADFA). I am admitted to the International Fellowship in Advanced Aesthetic Science, having interned in Seoul, Korea.
I am a trainer and lecturer in the MATA training academy of Aesthetic Medicine, awarding Level 7 diplomas to postgraduate students.
I hold professional memberships of the New Zealand Dental Association (NZDA), New Zealand Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (NZACD), New Zealand Society for Sedation and Anaesthesia in Dentistry (NZSSAD) and the Dental Council of New Zealand (DCNZ).
I have always had a keen interest in sport, playing representative Rugby, Cricket and Squash in a past life!”
Annie McIntyre
OWNER and REGISTERED NURSE
Annie joined Wellington Cosmetic Clinic in 2021 and brings a strong clinical background alongside a considered, patient-centred approach to aesthetic medicine.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing in 2015 and went on to complete a Postgraduate qualification in Health Science. Prior to specialising in cosmetic nursing, Annie worked extensively in ward-based nursing, including medical, surgical, and intensive care (ICU) settings, developing a high level of clinical judgement, attention to detail, and a strong foundation in patient safety.
In 2024, Annie purchased Wellington Cosmetic Clinic and is now the proud owner, continuing to build on the clinic’s reputation for high standards, integrity, and personalised care.
Annie’s approach to cosmetic treatments is grounded in achieving natural, balanced results. She works closely with each client to understand their individual goals, facial anatomy, and skin concerns, ensuring treatments enhance natural features rather than alter them. Her focus is on subtle, thoughtful outcomes that support confidence and long-term skin health.
Known for her calm and approachable manner, Annie places a strong emphasis on education, informed decision-making, and creating treatment plans that are tailored, realistic, and aligned with each client’s needs.
Aimee Dalton CIDESCO, CIBTAC
LASER AND SKIN THERAPIST
Aimee joined Wellington Cosmetic Clinic in 2015 and is a highly experienced Senior Beauty Therapist, bringing nearly a decade of industry experience to the clinic.
She began her career in the hair and beauty industry in her home of Hawke’s Bay, before going on to train and graduate from the Elite International School of Beauty & Spa Therapies in Wellington. Since then, Aimee has worked extensively within specialised skin clinics, supporting and guiding patients through all stages of their skin journey.
Aimee has helped countless patients improve their skin health and feel more confident in their skin through personalised treatment plans, education, and consistent, results-driven care. She has a strong passion for helping clients understand their skin and how to care for it long-term, ensuring outcomes are both achievable and sustainable.
Known for her warm, approachable nature and attention to detail, Aimee is committed to delivering high-quality treatments and creating a positive, supportive experience for every patient she works with.
Nina Higgison
Receptionist & Laser Hair Removal Therapist
Alannah joined Wellington Cosmetic Clinic in 2024, initially welcoming patients as our friendly and approachable Receptionist. While continuing in this role, she has since expanded her skill set and achieved her Laser Hair Removal qualification, allowing her to also perform laser hair removal treatments within the clinic.
Alannah is known for her warm manner and attention to detail, helping patients feel comfortable and well looked after from the moment they arrive. Her transition into clinical treatments reflects her strong interest in the aesthetic industry and her commitment to developing her skills.
By combining her front-of-house role with hands-on treatment delivery, Alannah plays an important part in ensuring patients receive both excellent care and a seamless clinic experience.
